As a performing artist, I find nothing more thrilling than singing and presenting my creativity to a live audience. Having spent my life as an entertainer and performance coach, I realize the need for all artists to connect with their audience and grow their fan base.
The ‘house concert’ has been around for a while and is becoming a fast-growing emerging trend for musicians on tour. In this intimate setting, new music is explored, new connections are made, and listeners get an up-close and personal experience with their favorite artists and discover new and up-and-coming talent.
My husband, Kevin, and I have been hosting house concerts for several years, and when we moved to our new loft in downtown Salt Lake City, we had our designer consider our love of music and hosting these small venue concerts. Cranes hoisted my Yamaha C7 Concert Grand Piano to reach our 5th-floor loft overlooking downtown Salt Lake City. We had a built-in sound system designed for the space and added stage lighting, perfectly setting the scene for a magical night. Upon entering the Loft, you will immediately feel that you are entering a sacred space where music will be shared and enjoyed, and memories will be made.
Broadway Loft Concerts will highlight new artists and seasoned artists that enjoy the house concert setting as part of their touring schedule. Join us and enjoy these special musically curated evenings. At the end of the evening, there will be an opportunity to give love offerings ($$) to each artist and purchase an autographed CD and merchandise.
